Legal / Privacy
Privacy, in plain sight.
What we collect, why we need it, where it goes, and the choices available to you.
Effective August 30, 2026
01
Scope
This policy explains how SportsPulse.io (“SportsPulse,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you visit our public site, join the waitlist, contact us, or use an invited account. It does not govern third-party services linked from the platform.
02
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Waitlist: email address and information submitted through Clerk's waitlist.
- Contact: name, email, subject, and message content.
- Invited accounts: email, name, identity-provider account data, and SportsPulse preferences. Clerk processes credentials and authentication factors; SportsPulse does not store your password.
Information collected automatically
We may receive IP address, browser and device details, request timestamps, referring page, authentication events, and diagnostic or security logs. The product also stores activity needed to operate account features, such as preferences and session state.
03
How we use information
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and private beta.
- Manage the waitlist, invitations, accounts, authentication, and support.
- Send access or product communications you requested.
- Detect abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with law.
- Measure aggregate product reliability and usage without using the data to make wagering decisions for you.
06
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the beta, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the data type, account status, sensitivity, operational need, and applicable law. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
07
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including restricted access, Clerk-managed authentication, secure session cookies, and service monitoring. No system or transmission is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08
Your choices and rights
You may ask to leave the waitlist, stop non-essential email, or request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision.
Submit requests through our contact form. We may verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
09
Age restrictions
SportsPulse is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 and meet the legal age for sports wagering in your location to use an invited account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; contact us if you believe a child provided it.
10
International use
SportsPulse and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the private beta evolves. The effective date will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or by email when appropriate.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the contact page.
